We are a class composed of 21 teenage girls ans 1 teenage boy and we are studying clothes making and fashion at the lycée Immaculée Conception, which is located in Laval, a middle-sized city situated between Le Mans and Rennes .
We are second-year students and our school syllabus includes a project, which is called in French PPCP (projet pluridisciplinaire à caractère professionnel) meaning that we mix professional and general learning. We are happy and proud to present our work on this website.
This year, the theme we had to work on was "Travel" and everything which can be linked to it such as stamps, postcards, memories, tropical settings ... The starting point was a dress shaped as a triangle and then we were free to use our imagination and our "know-how" to design and create the model we wanted to. We also visited a manufacture in Ballots which works for famous clothes designers like Agnès B., christain Lacroix or Kenzo...
Last but not least, we organise a parade on May 7th, 2004 to show our dresses to any person who is interested in fashion.
